Customer: Rosatom State Corporation                                        

Project aim: Analysis of advanced Russian practices on organizational changes in management system of large companies to ensure commercialization and market launch of new high-tech products and preparation of recommendations on possible application of the experience for  Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation and FSUE RFNC-VNIIEF as the nucleus of the Sarov Innovation Cluster.

Researchers examined strategies and forms of commercialization and market launch of high-tech products used by large companies with state participation including Oboronprom Corporation,  OPK Corporation,  NPO Saturn, Ramenskoe Design Bureau, Russian Quantum Center and others.

Key research findings:

Recommendations on adoption of new organizational models at FSUE RFNC-VNIIEF , based on analysis of best practices in Russia in the field of commercialization and introduction of new products to civil markets, are as follows:

• organization of competence centers;
• establishment of an open research center (open laboratory);
• formation of technological consortia;
• establishment of a corporate venture fund
