An independent research carried out by the CSR experts .The study is published in book form. "The potential of the socio-economic development of St. Petersburg until 2020: possible strategies." This report continues a series of the CSR projects aimed at elaboration of strategic documents for development of the Northwest regions.

The CSR experts analyzed economic results of the development of St. Petersburg over the last 10 years and examined accumulated problems, deficiencies and challenges.

For better understanding of the possible ways of changing the economic structure, the experts studied leading global trends in development of cities and megalopolices and key trends in the global economy.

The report also includes description of key projects, programs and organizational innovations, designed to facilitate implementation of priority directions in city development.
