Open Space "St. Petersburg and Agglomeration-2035: the Image of the Future in the Era of Digital Transformation"

The future of St. Petersburg in the Open Space format will be discussed at the “Boiling Point”  on April 28. Participants of the event within one day in the “here and now” mode will identify most important issues facing the city, select key development directions for the Northern capital and share their knowledge and experience.

Entrepreneurs, students,  representatives of startups and education sphere, experts and market leaders, journalists and all those who care about the  future of the city are invited to take part in the event.

Discussing the image of the future St. Petersburg – a city comfortable to live and work in, to get education, to raise children, bringing their ideas and insights, each of the participants of the event will become a real agent of change.

The Open Space participants will get a unique opportunity to raise any issues of particular concern and organize small events, inviting those who share their concerns to participate in them. There is no need to be a real expert in the topic discussed, it is enough to care about the issue. Thus, the participants will put together the program of the event themselves, and after the discussion each group will present its project at the plenary session.

The event will also include the presentation of the key project of the Leaders Club – the Foresight Fleet-2017 in St. Petersburg.

Representatives of the city administration and chief executives of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives are expected to speak at the presentation.

The event will be conducted as part of the preparation for the Foresight Fleet – 2017  to be held in St. Petersburg on  May 14-18. The Foresight Fleet in St. Petersburg will focus on development of breakthrough large-scale projects and technologies.

The Foresight Fleet is a unique for our country event, bringing together representatives of all spheres of economy and education, researchers and government officials, and making possible not only to forecast the future but also to shape it by joint efforts of a wide range of Russian and international experts.
