    CSR “North-West” and Three Leading Russian Universities Signed Agreement on Establishment of the Alliance of Translational Medicine

    The Alliance of Translational Medicine was established on December 20, 2016. The consortium agreement was signed by universities – participants of the Global Leadership Project 5-100 : National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (UNN), National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI", National Research Tomsk State University (TSU) and the Center for Strategic Research “North-West” Foundation.

    Pyotr Schedrovitsky: «New Technology Revolution Brings New Demands for Competencies of Graduates»

    On November 8, 2017 Pyotr  Schedrovitsky, member of the Expert Council of the Government of the Russian Federation , gave a lecture “On the structure of engineering education and the new industrial revolution” at St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. The event was conducted within the framework of the series of public lectures organized by the Center for Strategic Research "North-West" Foundation.

    CSR "North-West", FASO and RSF Signed an Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Forecasting Science

    The Center for Strategic Research “North-West”,  Russian Science Foundation (RSF) and Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations (FASO Russia) have launched a long-term cooperation project aimed at forecasting the prospects for science development.

    The aim of the research is to work together with broad science community to identify major challenges, development trends, as well as significant science milestones that form the context for problems and opportunities, an effective response to which presupposes a new level of the depth of scientific understanding of natural and social processes, expansion of technology portfolio available to the general public.

    Internet of things changes energy sector

    The Global Internet is transforming from the network of data exchange between computers into the Internet of Things (IoT) – an  infrastructure linking intelligent objects, i.e. devices  embedded with  control systems. IoT is spreading over different spheres of life, but its progress is uneven. One of the most promising sectors for implementation of the concept of “connected world” is the energy sector.
